As such, defense companies must make a double effort to promote ESG management while improving the negative corporate image of producing weapons that kill people. Nevertheless, some domestic defense companies have been pushing for ESG management while overcoming difficult circumstances. As a result, in the ESG evaluation, it obtained an A grade in the overall grade, and received a low grade in the environmental sector, but generally acquired an A grade in the social and governance sectors. ESG management of defense companies adds a process of overcoming difficult conditions, so policy considerations that take these circumstances into account will be necessary.
