대학의 지속가능성 제고를 위한 ESG 경영 진단 방안모색: 수도권 중소규모 대학을 중심으로

This study was conducted to explore ESG practices and diagnostic measuresapplicable to small and medium-sized universities located in the metropolitanarea. Based on examples from literature related to university ESG, universityESG practice and diagnosis areas and items, concepts for each item, andelements were derived. And the validity was verified through two Delphisurveys targeting university field experts and ESG experts. The Research results are as followed. A total of 4 areas and 14 items werederived, including education and research items within the university educationand research area, environmental management, energy, resources, and wasteitems within the environmental management area, working environment, humanrights and diversity, law compliance, stakeholder participation, and communitycontribution items within the social responsibility management areaestablishment of an ESG management system within the governance structure,ethical management, and accounting transparency items. In addition, 43detailed diagnostic elements were derived along with the main concepts foreach item. This study is significant in that it derived the university's ESGareas, items, and diagnostic elements based on the results of collectingopinions from university sites. The research results can be used as basic datafor universities to practice and diagnose ESG.
