초록
This study employed dynamic programming to derive optimal dam operation strategies aimed at maximizing Nakdong river aintenance water through the efficient operation of Hapcheon Dam. Two scenarios were investigated: Case 1, which considered only the dam's operational plan, and Case 2, which included additional water supply from Hapcheon Dam considering environmental flow at Jeokpo Bridge. Both scenarios demonstrated positive improvements in terms of dam operation and additional river maintenance water supply comparing to observed data. Although the low reliability of water supply from Hapcheon Dam, currently 39.1 %, Dynamic Programming (DP) analysis allowed for the identification of more efficient dam operation methods and offered significant potential to contribute to downstream additional river maintenance water. In the context of adapting to climate change and addressing limited water resource allocation and efficient utilization, the techniques and methods introduced in this study are expected to be valuable.
