Nations worldwide are actively pursuing strategies to enhance the operational efficiency and productivity of their ports in response to escalating cargo volumes, aiming to bolster port competitiveness. The swift expansion of ports has heightened customer expectations for an optimized port experience, elevating the significance of customer satisfaction. This research addresses this issue by employing data envelopment analysis to scrutinize the operational efficiency, service productivity, and effectiveness of ports while incorporating considerations for customer satisfaction. Additionally, Tobit regression analysis is utilized to identify factors influencing port operational efficiency from various user satisfaction factors, assessing their subsequent effects on service productivity and effectiveness. The findings reveal that operational satisfaction, among the three satisfaction factors, exhibits a positive impact on operational efficiency at a significance level of .1. Furthermore, convenience of use, among the detailed satisfaction factors, has a positive influence on service productivity at a significance level of .05. And the possession of a systematic maintenance management system negatively affects service effectiveness at a significance level of .05, while possessing facility management expertise positively impacts service effectiveness at a significance level of .1.
