고령자 법교육의 본질관 구성- FGI 조사를 바탕으로 -

초록
본 연구는 경험적 연구를 통해 고령자 법교육의 본질관을 구성하여, 이를 통해 고령자 법교육의 개념을 정립하고 실행 가능성을 모색하는 데 목적이 있다. 선행연구 검토를 통해 고령자 법교육의 본질관을 필요성, 목적, 대상 등의 측면에서 살펴보고자 하였다. 특히 FGI를 통해 관련 전문가 집단의 인식과 의견을 끌어내고 이를 바탕으로 고령자 법교육의 본질관을 구성하고자 하였다. 10명의 전문가 집단을 대상으로 FGI를 실시한 결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 전문가 집단은 고령자 법교육이 시급하며 반드시 필요하다는 데 매우 동의하였다. 둘째, 목표 설정에 있어 부동산, 금융, 상속과 같은 일상에서 즉시 활용 가능한 지식과 정보 위주로 교육이 이루어져야 한다고 보았다. 셋째, 대상 설정에 있어 고령자 본인을 대상으로 교육이 이루어지는 것이 바람직하나, 장기적으로 보호자나 예비 고령자 등을 대상으로 확대해나갈 필요성이 있음을 제안하였다. 넷째, 자유 의견 진술을 통해 고령사회와 고령자에 대한 인식 개선 교육이 병행될 필요가 있다고 보았다. 이상의 연구 결과를 바탕으로 고령자 법교육의 본질관을 구성해 볼 수 있었으며, 향후 내용 체계나 교수학습 방법 등에 대한 후속 연구를 통해 해당 내용을 보다 정교화해 나가야 할 것이다.
Abstract
With the advent of an aged society, the problems experienced by the elderly are rapidly increasing. LRE(Law-related Education) for the elderly can be one of the solutions to the problems of an aged society. Accordingly, the purpose of this study is to construct the nature of LRE for the elderly through empirical research. Previous literatures on research topics and research methods were reviewed. Through this, we would like to examine the nature of LRE for the elderly, focusing on the aspects of necessity, purpose, and target. In addition, through FGI, we sought to elicit the perceptions and opinions of relevant expert groups regarding LRE for the elderly. FGI was conducted with 10 experts. The results of analyzing the responses of the expert group are as follows: First, LRE for the elderly is very urgent and absolutely necessary. Second, LRE for the elderly should focus on legal knowledge and information that can be immediately used in daily life. Third, LRE for the elderly must be provided to the elderly themselves. In the long term, there is a need to expand the target population to their guardians and prospective senior citizens. Fourth, there is a need to provide education to improve consciousness of the aged society. There is a need to conduct follow-up research on the content and methods of LRE for the elderly in the future.
