Impact of Sustainable Management Strategies used by Amorepacific Cosmetic Product Company on Trust and Purchase Intent

Various social problems threatening the survival and growth of humanity such as depletion of resources due to environmental pollution and climate change, global economic crisis, etc. have recently gained attention, therefore, sustainable management has become an important issue in management of companies. As an active response to the changing business environment, companies that produce cosmetic products are also engaging in a broad range of sustainable management activities. Therefore, this study was conducted as a comprehensive examination of the impact of the sustainable management strategies used by cosmetic companies on the trust and purchase intent of consumers; thus, a survey of 400 females in their 20s to 40s was conducted. The results of the study demonstrated the statistically significant impact of the sustainable management strategies used by cosmetic product companies on trust and purchase intent. It is assumed that such research will be helpful in the effort to provide practical basic data for application in sustainable management of cosmetic product companies.
