퍼스널 컬러 신체 색 분류 실습을 위한 컬러 제안

미용 관련 학부 교과 과정에서 중요한 비중을 가진 퍼스널 컬러 교과목은 개인의 신체 색을 이해하고 조화로운 컬러를 선택함으로써 효과적인 뷰티디자인을 실행하는 데 의의를 둔다. 현재 퍼스널 컬러 교과목에서 사용되고 있는 컬러 교구에는 ‘KS 표준색 C&D 155’, ‘종이나라 KS 195’, ‘종이나라 120 colors’ 등이 있다. 이 색표집들은 색의 3속성 개념과 색조의 분류 및 이미지 배색을 학습하기에는 훌륭하지만 퍼스널 컬러의 기본 이론인 ‘따뜻함 및 차가운 계열 색(warm & cool color)’ 분류 실습이나 피부색, 모발 색과 같은 신체 색의 기준을 정하고 색을 이해하는 데에는 한계가 있다. 본 연구의 목적은 ‘KS 표준색 C&D 155’ 색표집을 기반으로 ‘따뜻함 및 차가운 계열 색’ 실습을 위해 선명한 색조에서의 10색상 외에도 먼셀 2.5와 7.5에 해당하는 20색상을 추가하여 제안하고 ‘CCI SKIN TONE GUIDE’를 참고하여 피부색 8색 및 모발 컬러 8색을 추가함으로써 신체 색의 기준을 학습하는데 필요한 컬러를 제안하는 데 목적을 두었다. 연구의 방법으로는 첫째, 퍼스널 컬러에서의 ‘따뜻함 및 차가운 계열 색’ 이론 및 4계절 이론들을 문헌조사를 통해 퍼스널 컬러에서 조화의 의미와 4계절 이론의 계절별 특징을 조사하였다. 둘째, ‘KS 표준색 C&D 155’와 ‘CCI SKIN TONE GUIDE’의 컬러의 CIE L*a*b* 색 값을 ‘Color Reader CR-10(Konica Minolta, made in japan)’ 측색 기기를 사용하여 알아보고 ‘먼셀 컬러 북(The Munsell Book of Color 2016)’에서 시각적 등보도성을 유지하는 범위 내에 존재하는 먼셀 2.5, 7.5에 해당하는 색상을 추출하여 총 20색을 제안하였다. 이렇게 제안된 36색은 실제 색표집으로 제안하는 경우 전문가의 지속적인 검증과 문제점을 보완하여 퍼스널 컬러 교과목에서 체계적인 컬러 활용이 용이해지고 신체 색을 기반으로 한 색채 학습 모형으로 발전시킬 수 있는 기회가 되기를 희망한다.
Abstract
Personal color subjects, which have an important part of the undergraduate curriculum related to beauty, are meaningful in understanding an individual’s body colors and implementing effective beauty design by choosing harmonious colors. Color guides currently used in personal color subjects include "KS Standard Color C&D155," "KS195," and "120 Colors". These color chart are good for learning the tri-property of colors, classification of colors, and image coloration, but there is a limit to understanding the criteria of body colors such as skin color and hair color and utilizing coloration. The purpose of this study was to select 20 colors corresponding to 2.5 and 7.5 from the vivid tone 10 colors for ‘Warm & Cool’ practice based on the ‘KS standard Color C&D155’ color sampling, and to propose a color sampling with essential colors that can be practiced for the classification of body colors in personal colors by adding 8skin colors and 8 hair colors by referring to ‘CCI SKIN TONE GUIDE’. As a method of research, first, based on a literature survey of the Warm & Cool theory and the four-season theory in personal color, the harmony theory and the four-season theory in personal color, the harmony theory of personal color and the color image in the four-season theory were investigated. Second, the colors of ‘KS Standard Color C&D155’ and ‘CCI SKIN TONE GUIDE’ were used to find out CIE L*a*b* values using ‘Color Reader CR-10(Konica Minolta, made in Japan)", and "The MUNSELL Book of Color (2016, Coated)" was selected in 20 colors corresponding to 2.5 and 7.5 of Muncells within the range of maintaining similar brightness and saturation with the naked eye. In addition, eight skin colors and eight hair colors corresponding to Warm & Cool were selected in "CCI SKIN TONE GUIDE", respectively. If this proposed color 36 is proposed as a real color table, complementary verification and problems in the spread of experts, and the opportunity to develop a systematic color learning model.
