멘토역량이 창업의지에 미치는 영향에 관한 연구: 라포 및 신뢰형성을 중심으로

초록
[연구목적]본 연구는 창업멘토링의 실효성을 규명하고자, 라포와 신뢰형성을 매개로 멘토역량이 창업의지에 미치는 영향을 비교하여 분석하였다. 특히 멘토의 경력역량뿐 아니라 심리적 역량도 창업의지에 영향을 미칠 수 있을 것이라 보았다. [연구방법]본 연구는 멘토와 창업의지 관련 선행연구에 대한 조사를 바탕으로 라포와 신뢰형성을 매개로 멘토역량이 창업의지에 미치는 영향에 대해 7개의 주요 가설을 세웠다. 하위 변인들 간의 관계를 규명하고 회귀분석과 매개분석을 통해 이들 변인 간의 관계를 규명하였다. [연구결과]멘토의 경력관련 역량이 창업의지에 미치는 영향과, 멘토역량이 라포와 신뢰형성에 미치는 영향이 모두 정(＋)으로 나타났으며, 라포와 신뢰형성이 창업의지에 미치는 영향과 멘토역량과 창업의지에 미치는 매개효과는 일부 나타났다. [연구의 시사점]본 연구의 결과를 통하여 창업멘토링에서 멘토역량과 상호간의 라포와 신뢰형성이 실제로 예비창업자 및 창업자들의 창업의지를 제고시키는 데에 영향을 준다는 사실을 확인하였다. 또한 창업멘토링에 있어 멘토의 충분한 경험, 역량과 함께 멘티와의 라포와 신뢰 형성이 선행되어야 한다는 의미 있는 시사점을 도출하였다. 이는 향후 창업멘토링의 불만족을 해결하고 성공적인 창업 프로그램을 만들 것으로 기대한다.
Abstract
[Purpose]This study aimed to elucidate the effectiveness of entrepreneurship mentoring by comparing and analyzing the impact of mentor competence on entrepreneurial intentions mediated by rapport and trustworthiness. [Methodology]Based on a review of previous studies, seven major hypotheses were formulated concerning the impact of mentor competence on entrepreneurial intentions mediated by rapport and trustworthiness. [Findings]The research results regarding the impact of mentor competence on entrepreneurial intentions revealed that both mentor’s experiental competence and psychological competence positively influenced entrepreneurial intentions. [Implications]Through the findings of this study, it was confirmed that the mutual rapport and trustworthiness between mentors and prospective entrepreneurs actually influence entrepreneurial intentions. These insights are expected to contribute to the development of successful entrepreneurship programs.
