초록
This study aims to find the determinants of industrial accidents in Korean SMEs. It considers dependent variables such as the number and rate of workplace accidents and independent variables such as organizational characteristics, worker, system and risk factors using Poisson regression, regression and t-tests. The results show that a higher percentage of non-regular workers and more hazardous workplaces increase the number of accidents, while safety organizations and risk assessment systems significantly reduce the number of accidents. In addition, it was found that the rate of accidents was higher in smaller SMEs and that the factors varied according to the type of industry. These findings can inform future industrial safety policies and policy directions related to industrial accident.
