A Study on Prioritizing Education Contents Required for Settlement Workers : Focusing on the case of support for North Korean migrants settling in South Korea

This study aims to prioritize education contents to improve the abilities of settlement workers who provide settlement support services to North Korean immigrants who have migrated to South Korea. In this study, based on the analysis results of Analytic Hierarchy Process (AHP), the results derived by conducting FGI for experts in the field are as follows. As a research results, first, practical skills that can be used in the field are important. Second, family-based understanding is necessary in understanding migrants as a target of support. Third, protect and manage sensitive personal information derived from the process to difficulties faced by migrants is important. Fourth, education contents to the method of providing migrant support services that can respond to situations in which face-to-face services are impossible is required.
