교육학과 학부생의 진로 탐색을 위한 메타버스 개발 연구: 교육의 사회적 책임의 관점에서의 접근

초록
대학의 교육학과는 교육의 전반에 대해 배우는 학과로 다양한 분야의 교육전문가를 양성하는 것을 목적으로 하고 있다. 하지만 실질적인 정보의 부족으로 많은 학생들이 진로 선택에 있어 어려움을 겪고 있다. 학생들의 진로 선택이 유예됨에 따라 불필요한 사회적 비용 또한 늘어나게 되고 이는 심각한 사회적 문제가 되고 있다. 본 연구에서는 이러한 사회적 문제를 해결하고자 디자인 씽킹 기법을 활용하여 교육학과 학생들이 전공 분야에 진로를 탐색할 수 있도록 ZEP을 활용한 메타버스 공간을 구축하였다. 이를 통해 교육학과 학생들에게 다양한 진로 영역의 정보를 제공하고 해당 분야에서 요구하는 역량을 파악하여 자기계발에 활용할 수 있도록 하며 현장에서 일하고 있는 선배들과의 교류를 촉진하고자 하였다. 구축한 메타버스 공간에 대하여 전문가, 학생들의 검토를 거쳤으며, 최종 수정을 거쳐 최종적으로 메타버스 공간을 완성하였다. 본 연구 결과는 교육의 사회적 책임의 관점에서 사회적 문제를 해결하기 위한 메타버스 디지털 콘텐츠의 활용이라는 점에서 그 의미가 있다.
Abstract
The university's Department of Education aims to teach overall knowledge of education and produce educational experts in various fields. However, due to the lack of information of this, many students are having difficulty choosing their career path. As students' career choices are postponed, unnecessary social costs also increase, and this has become a serious social problem. In this study, a metaverse environment using ZEP was established so that education students could explore their careers in their major fields using design thinking techniques to solve these problems. Through this, it was intended to provide information on various career areas to education students, identify the competencies required in the field, use them for self-development, and promote exchanges with seniors working in the field. The established metaverse was reviewed by experts and students, and metaverse space was finally completed through final revision. The results of this study are meaningful in that it is a metaverse digital content to solve social problems from the perspective of social responsibility in education.
