ESG 경영과 유한킴벌리의 ESG 실천 사례 : 자원순환경제 중심으로

In the 21st century, environmental and climate challenges become essential issues. This study aims to respond to the global climate crisis and spread carbon neutrality through the case study of ESG management practices of Yuhan- Kimberly. The circular economy is an alternative economic model that pursues a sustainable environment through resource conservation and recycling. Despite its reputation for reducing carbon emissions and plastic use and practicing environmental management to achieve carbon neutrality, the questions have been raised about resource circulation issues in its major products and ESG washing in its actual environmental performance in terms of ESG management. In terms of circulator economy for sustainable development of Yuhan-Kimberly, the following suggestions were made. First, economic benefits such as improving competitiveness, reducing operating costs, and increasing sales will be achieved. Second, in terms of environmental benefits, sustainable resource utilization and greenhouse gas reduction can contribute to reducing resource consumption, minimizing waste, and protecting ecosystems. Third, the social benefits can increase through the cooperation and participation of stakeholders. Fourth, it is necessary to activate the policy of circulator economy with ESG management. Key words
