ESG 관점에서 교양교과목 개발 과정 : S대학 교양교과목 <(문화콘텐츠 기반) 지속가능한 미래와 솔루션 디자인>을 중심으로

Recently, as social expectations for universities expand beyond education and knowledge creation to social roles and responsibilities for a sustainable future, interest in ESG among higher education institutions is increasing. Recently, S University opened an ESG-based social lab liberal arts course. In the contest, the value of university members as mature consumers and members of civil society who will lead society was specified, and to this end, the development of “capacity to recognize and practice ESG values” was assumed as the goal of the liberal arts subject. This is a study on the development process of the subject “(Based on Cultural Contents) Sustainable Future and Solution Design,” which was selected in the university’s ESG-based social lab subject development research contest. The researcher majored in culture and arts and majored in liberal arts at S University. Researcher have been in charge of theater and film-related classes, as well as basic writing and advanced writing. Starting with basic research on ESG for the development of ESG-based liberal arts courses at S University, the status of ESG-based courses at overseas universities and the Sustainability Assessment System (STARS) We have conducted basic research on, etc. this paper can be shared as an example of the development of ESG-based university liberal arts courses and be used as an example to analyze the ESG activities of domestic universities in various contexts.
