영유아기 자녀를 둔 아버지들의 가족친화제도 이용현황: 육아휴직제도, 육아기 근로시간 단축제도, 아동관련 수당 지원제도를 중심으로

This study aimed to understand the use status of the family-friendly system of fathers with young children. This study surveyed a total of 1, 045 fathers in eight regions across the country who were raising young children(born in 2017-2023). Data were analyzed through frequency analysis and descriptive statistic analysis using SPSS 28.0 PROGRAM. The results of this study were as follows. First, the response rate to the use status in the case of the ‘parental leave system’ and the ‘reducing system of working hours during parenting period’ of the family-friendly system was less than half, while the utilization rate of support system for child-related allowance was higher than 60%. Second, realistic paid leave support, extension of shortening working hours, and increasing child-related allowances were proposed as improvements to the family-friendly system for fathers’ work-family balance support. These findings can provide basic data for improving the family-friendly system. Furthermore, this study is expected to contribute to creating a social environment that supports a balanced work-family life of fathers raising young children.
