ESG 경영의 공동체성에 대한 연구- 기독교 공동체 특성을 적용하여 -

This study aims to present the characteristics of community in ESG management. Thus far, discussions on ESG management have primarily focused on individual indicators and concepts of E.S.G., as well as metric-centered discussions regarding performance evaluation, rather than explaining the coexistence of such communities and the theoretical background of corporate behavior. In this study, the inadequacy of executing ESG management without communal characteristics or values in the current approach is recognized, and the communal characteristics of ESG management are presented. The research methodology employed in this study is theoretical research, deriving the meaning and value of the community that should be pursued in ESG management through a review of prior studies on communal values and characteristics in Christianity. The study presents the communal value of the environment, society, and governance in ESG management derived from this research. The ESG community model consolidates all values around the core value of 'life'. In other words, the direction and goal of ESG management are 'life'. This value of life is summarized by the community nature of sharing-service-care, responsibility and mutual consideration, and personal-social communion to realize this value. It is expected to contribute to establishing reasons and purposes for ESG management.
