인권에 관한 사회적 현안 분석: 언론보도를 중심으로

초록
연구목적 본 연구는 최근 사회적으로 인권에 관하여 집중하고 있는 문제들을 종합하여 주요한 현안을파악하고 이에 대한 정책적인 방향성을 모색하고자 하는 목적을 가진다. 연구방법 연구의 목적을 달성하기 위해 본 연구에서는 한국언론진흥재단에서 제공하는 빅카인즈 시스템을 활용하여 최근 5년간보도된 언론자료 중 인권에 관한 문제, 현안에 관한 키워드로 총 17,406건을 수집하였다. 수집한 자료를 기반으로 텍스톰(Textom)을 활용하여 단어의 빈도 및 TF-IDF분석, N-gram분석, LDA((LatentDirichlet Allocation) 토픽모델링 분석을 실시하였다. 결과 분석을 통해 최근 5년간 인권과 관련된 현안은 인권 문제의 사법처리, 권리와 공직 관련 인권 문제, 인권침해 관련 조사, 성 관련 인권 문제, 사회적 인권 문제, 과거사건 관련 인권 문제, 교육기관의 인권 문제로 총 7가지 주제가 주요한 내용임을확인할 수 있었다. 결론 분석결과를 기반으로 도출한 주요한 현안에 대하여 본 연구에서는 다음과같이 제언을 하였다. 첫째, 교육기관의 인권 문제 대하여 심도있는 관리가 필요하다, 둘째, 성 관련인권 문제에 대하여 시각의 전환과 예방정책이 필요하다, 끝으로 과거 발생 사건의 피해자 대상 국가적 지원과 관심을 기울여야 할 것이다.
Abstract
Purpose This study aims to identify key issues by integrating recent societal focus onhuman rights issues and to explore policy directions to address these issues. MethodsTo achieve the research objectives, this study utilized the BigKinds system provided bythe Korea Press Foundation to collect a total of 17,406 cases from media reports overthe past five years on human rights issues and key words related to them. The collecteddata was analyzed using Textom to conduct word frequency and TF-IDF analysis,N-gram analysis, and LDA (Latent Dirichlet Allocation) topic modeling analysis. ResultsThrough the analysis, it was confirmed that the key issues related to human rights overthe past five years were judicial handling of human rights issues, rights and public officerelated human rights issues, human rights violation related investigations, gender relatedhuman rights issues, societal human rights issues, historical events related human rightsissues, and human rights issues in educational institutions, totaling seven main topics. Conclusion Based on the analysis results, this study made the following suggestions forthe key issues identified. First, in-depth management is needed for human rights issuesin educational institutions. Second, a change in perspective and preventive policies areneeded for gender-related human rights issues. Finally, national attention and supportshould be given to the victims of past incidents.
