[연구의 필요성 및 목적] 약용작물 교육프로그램에 참여하는 사람들의 동기와 활용 의도에 영향을 미치는 결정요인을 분석하는 연구의 필요성이 대두된다. 약용 작물 교육프로그램의 질적 수준 평가와 경제적 부가가치 창출에 기여 방안을 도출해보고자 한다. [연구 방법] 약용작물 교육프로그램 수강동기가 교육 후 활용 의도에 미치는 영향을 분석하기 위해 설문조사를 통한 성인 남녀 215명의 유효 응답자를 대상으로 SPSS(ver. 25.0)를 이용하여 타당성, 신뢰성 검증 및 연구가설 검증을 진행하였다. [연구결과] 약용작물 교육프로그램 참여 동기 요인분석 결과, 활동지향 동기, 학습지향 동기, 목표지향 동기로 추출되었고, 약용작물 교육프로그램 참여자들의 전반적인 활용 의도를 높이기 위해서는 관련 산업 보다는 건강에 도움이 되는 정보를 중점 요인으로 교육프로그램 개발이 요구되는 것으로 나타났다. [결론] 약용작물 교육프로그램에 참여하는 사람들의 동기가 프로그램에서 제공되는 활동, 학습 경험, 또는 특정 목표에 따라 활용 의도에 유의미한 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 이는 프로그램의 설계와 운영에 있어 참여자들의 동기를 고려하는 것이 중요함을 시사한다.
Abstract
The Necessity and Purpose of the Research] There is a growing need to analyze the determinants influencing the motivations and utilization intentions of participants in medicinal plant education programs. The study aims to derive methods to evaluate the qualitative aspects of medicinal plant education programs and contribute to the creation of economic value-added. [Research Method] To analyze the impact of motives for participating in medicinal plant education programs on post-education utilization intentions, a survey was conducted targeting 215 valid respondents, both men and women. The data were analyzed using SPSS (ver. 25.0) for validity, reliability verification, and hypothesis testing. [Research Findings] The factor analysis of motives for participating in medicinal plant education programs revealed three factors: activity-oriented motivation, learning-oriented motivation, and goal-oriented motivation. To enhance overall utilization intentions among participants in medicinal plant education programs, it was found that program development should focus more on providing information beneficial for health rather than on related industries. [Conclusion] The motivations of individuals participating in medicinal plant education programs were found to significantly influence utilization intentions based on the activities, learning experiences, or specific goals provided by the program. This underscores the importance of considering participants' motivations in the design and operation of such programs.
