국내 디지털 치료제 특허 현황 분석

As the demand for customized healthcare increases, Digital therapeutics, which are third-generation treatments, are attracting attention. Accordingly, it was intended to help revitalize clinical application of digital treatments in the future by grasping the current status of patents for Digital therapeutics in Korea and analyzing trends in related patents. Patent status, international patent classification, detailed patent analysis by classification, and keyword time series analysis were performed on digital treatment patents applied in KIPRIS, a patent information search service. As a result of the study, a total of 2,133 patents for Digital therapeutics registered or disclosed have been filed since 2016, with 26 patent applications being filed the most in 2021. As a result of detailed analysis according to the international patent classification, there were many patent applications in the order of G16 (55.02%), A61 (25.12%), and G06 (12.92%). As a result of examining the trends through keyword time series analysis, 'smartphone' and 'application' have been identified as key keywords since 2018, and it has been confirmed that the proportion of keywords related to the 4th industry such as 'metaverse' and 'big data' has increased since 2020. Through this study, it is expected to revitalize patent applications for Digital therapeutics in Korea and establish a platform for providing Digital therapeutics in clinical practice.
