The purpose of this study is to examine the operational status of domestic 5-star hotels and global chain hotels following the introduction of ESG management, and to provide theoretical and practical suggestions for effective ESG management strategies and measures that can provide hotel companies with a sustainable competitive advantage. I would like to present it. First, sustainable practices in the environmental area are necessary. To achieve this, it is necessary to establish and implement a systematic eco-friendly strategy by obtaining international certification with public confidence, including eco-friendly label certification. Second, various practices for socially responsible management are needed. It is necessary to approach the hotel's internal and external social environment in a balanced manner and with interest in various social issues. Third, strengthening governance and ethical management should be a priority. Fourth, it is necessary to implement differentiated ESG management strategies for each hotel. Fifth, active development of ESG management activities in small and medium-sized hotels is necessary. Sixth, the most important thing in ESG management is to set quantitative goals. Quantitative goals for ESG management must be set through objective measurement. As the importance of ESG is expected to be more emphasized in the future than now, active participation and activities in ESG management are necessary.
