지역 소재 대학 졸업자의 취업권역이 주관적 안녕감에 미치는 영향 분석: 수도권 취업과 졸업 지역 취업을 중심으로

This study analyzes the effect of the employment area of local university graduates on subjective well-being to enhance the subjective well-being of local university graduates. Using the 2017-2020 College Graduates Occupational Mobility Survey (GOMS), 19,134 graduates of local universities were employed as regular workers (5,081 in 2017, 4,779 in 2018, 4,810 in 2019, and 4,464 in 2020). Local universities were divided into Chungcheong, Gyeongsang, and Jeolla, and employment areas were divided into employment in the graduation area and employment in the capital area for each area. In addition, a regression analysis was conducted to analyze the subjective well-being of graduates of local universities according to the employment area. The results of the study are as follows. First, it was found that employment in the graduation area of local university graduates had a positive (+) effect on life satisfaction and positive emotions rather than employment in the capital area. Second, it was found that employment in the graduation area of local university graduates had a negative (-) effect on negative emotions than employment in the capital area. It was found that employment in the graduation area of local university graduates had an effect on subjective well-being rather than employment in the capital area. As a result of the study, a job program between local universities and local companies should be prepared so that graduates of local universities can expand their employment in the graduation area. The government should also come up with practical policies to help graduates of local universities find employment in the graduation area. Above all, local university students should have a positive view of employment in the graduation area rather than employment in the capital area.
