연구개발 활동에서 인공지능 도구의 사용 책임에 관한 연구

In 2023, as the utilization of AI tools in research and development activities rapidly increases, numerous international academic organizations and universities have released guidelines advocating for the responsible use of AI tools. In this study, we analyzed the content of guidelines related to the utilization of AI tools established by major organizations and conducted a survey to assess the awareness levels of 2,822 university researchers regarding the use of AI tools. Based on the findings from this survey analysis, the following four recommendations have been derived to ensure the responsible use of AI tools in research and development activities: Firstly, when utilizing content generated by AI tools, a verification and correction process must be undertaken. Secondly, precautions should be taken to prevent the leakage of important research information when using AI tools. Thirdly, when publicly disclosing results produced using AI tools, relevant information must be disclosed. Fourthly, it is essential to acknowledge that the responsibility for content generated by AI tools lies with the user. The recommendations discussed in this study are based on the analysis of perceptions from various domestic and international organizations, institutions, and domestic researchers. Therefore, there is a need for ongoing discussion and critical debate in the future.
