준정부기관의 청렴도가 사회적 가치 구현에 미치는 영향에 관한 연구

This study aims to examine the relationship between the integrity of quasi-governmental institutions and the realization of social values including ethical management, job creation, equal opportunities & social integration, collaborative growth & regional development, safety and the environment. In analyzing 204 agencies in South Korea, we utilized data from the Anti-Corruption & Civil Rights Commission (2017-2020) and the Ministry of Planning and Finance (2018-2021). The LSDV (Least Squares Dummy Variable) regression analysis on the panel data reveals that both internal and external integrity positively influence ethical management, with only internal integrity impacting equal opportunities and social integration and collaborative growth and regional development. Further analysis has shown that factors such as environmental changes caused by the COVID-19 pandemic, societal issues like real estate speculation and recruitment misconduct, and shifts in government policies and institutions have offsetting effects on the relationship between integrity and the realization of social values. This study discovers that the internal and external integrity of quasi-governmental institutions serves as a catalyst for positive impacts on ethical management, equal opportunities & social integration, and collaborative growth & regional development, highlighting the crucial role of integrity within public institutions in achieving social values and engaging in socially responsible activities.
