마이스업계 종사자가 인식하는 AI 수용과 기술 격차에 따른 스트레스 탐구: 사회교환 이론을 중심으로

In the MICE industry, AI technology has played a significant role in various aspects such as enhancing corporate productivity, improving the quality of customer service, and generating new business models. This study applied social exchange theory to explore the acceptance of AI technology and the associated stress experienced by professionals in the MICE industry. A qualitative research methodology was adopted, specifically conducting in-depth interviews with 15 employees working in small to medium-sized MICE companies across Europe. The data collected from spring to summer 2023 were analyzed using NVivo software for thematic analysis, which identified three main themes: 'inevitability of AI adoption', 'rapid change in digital technology and tts gaps', and 'stress induced by AI acceptance'. Furthermore, through social exchange theory, the relationship between the utility of AI and stress was deeply analyzed from the perspective of costs and rewards. This research provides a multifaceted understanding of the impact of technological changes on organizations and professionals.
