다변형 미니 주방가구 디자인 개발에 관한 연구

This study was based on the “Pop-up compact Mini Kitchen (MK) unit” development project to develop a multi-variant mini kitchen furniture design needed for single-person living spaces or public spaces. In response to changes in lifestyle and living space due to the increase in single-person households, the design of multi-variant mini kitchen furniture was developed based on various case studies of mini kitchens that are small but have compact functions. The design devel- opment of mini kitchen furniture was carried out in accordance with the furniture design develop- ment process, including design direction, idea sketching, design confirmation, design drawing, 3D rendering, and prototype production. The zoning configuration of the multi-variant mini kitchen fur- niture kitchen is divided into the main body and the moving body. The main body is a kitchen that prepares dishes, which is the role of the kitchen, and is suitable for single-person households. It is composed of functions, storage space, and built-in appliances, and the moving body part was de- signed to accommodate a home bar table for eating and simple home appliances. For this design, a design patent application (application number 30-2021-0021654) and design registration (registration number 30-1154842) have been completed. Changes in lifestyle are directly related to our lives, and I believe that convergent living life research is continuously needed in connection with not only the furniture industry but also other industrial fields.
