수명 주기의 관점에서 고프코어 패션 디자인 표현 방법

The increase in outdoor activities has led to a growing demand for multiuse fashion products among customers who value cost effectiveness. Consequently, gorpcore fashion has become a major trend. This study explores sustainable fashion design strategies utilizing the gorpcore style and proposes methods for applying life cycle design to extend the lifespan of gorpcore fashion products. The design characteristics of the gorpcore style were analyzed through a literature review and case studies, five key design approaches for extending the product life cycle based on sustainable design principles. These approaches comprise “intentional disharmony,” “multifunctional integration,” “collaboration,” “genderless style,” and “renewed design.” This study demonstrates that the gorpcore style possesses potential beyond being a temporary fashion trend, as it offers ways to extend the life cycle of fahsion products, promote the efficient use of resources, and ultimately reduce the negative impact on the environment. The conclusion of the study signifies the importance of gorpcore fashion design in facilitating the transition to a sustainable fashion industry and offers practical guidelines for both designers and consumers.
