성서에 나타난 죽음이해와 임종준비에 관한 연구

There is a saying, ‘The living is mortal.’ All living things inevitably end their lives after a certain period of life. The purpose of this study is to provide care and proper roles for dying people and their families in the face of death through biblical understanding in order to relieve fear and fear of death. By conducting a literary review of the meaning in which human death is mentioned in the Bible, the purpose is to seek a more meaningful and valuable understanding of death and to find ways to prepare for deathbed for oneself and one's family. The purpose of this study is to examine how the Bible specifically talks about human death, and to recognize that human death is not in vain but leads to a new world and to have hope for a new life. This is a study that seeks to find the meaning of human death within the truth of the Bible. The Old and New Testaments speak important words about human death. This study was described as a literature-centered study, and to summarize the contents of the study, the purpose and scope of the study were described in the introduction of Chapter 1. In Chapter 2, we looked at previous research on human death. In Chapter 3, literature on death in the Old Testament was searched and 10 scriptures were extracted and described, and in Chapter 4, literature on death in the New Testament was searched and 10 scriptures were extracted and described. In Chapter 5, the necessity of preparing for death was suggested as part of the conclusion, and implications, limitations of the study, and directions for future research were presented.
