결혼 및 이혼 프로그램 시청이 대학생의 결혼에 대한 이상적 기대감에 미치는 영향

In recent years, South Korea has seen a decline in marriage rates and an increase in divorce rates. Concurrently, reality TV shows dealing with marriage and divorce have gained popularity. Notable programs include 'We Got Divorced 2,' 'Oh Eun-young Report - Marriage Hell,' and 'Dol Singles 3.' This study analyzed the influence of such reality programs on the content regarding marriage, the structure of the programs, and viewers' idealistic expectations of marriage. The final analysis utilized a sample of 298 university students who watched marriage and divorce programs. The findings are as follows: First, the extent of view levels negatively affects the idealistic expectations of marriage. Second, while the extent of view levels positively affects the perception of reality, this perception does not influence idealistic expectations of marriage. Third, the extent of view levels positively impacts parasocial interactions, which in turn negatively affect the idealistic expectations of marriage. Fourth, although the perception of reality does not mediate the effect of view levels on idealistic expectations of marriage, parasocial interactions do. Additionally, this study confirmed the mediating effects of parasocial interactions and the perception of reality on the impact of viewing marriage and divorce programs on idealistic expectations of marriage.
