간호대학생의 정신간호역량에 따른 비판적사고성향, 감성지능 및 학업적 자기효능감의 관계

This study attempted to determine the relationship between critical thinking disposition, emotional intelligence, and academic self-efficacy according to psychiatric nursing competencies in nursing students. The subjects of the study were 153 third- and fourth-year nursing students attending a four-year university in the region, and data collection was conducted from November 20 to December 1, 2023. Data analysis was performed using the SPSS/WIN version 27.0 program, and descriptive statistics were used. Difference testing was performed using t-test, ANOVA, and Pearson's correlation coefficient. Results, The subjects of this study had an average of 3.68 points out of 5 for their psychiatric nursing competencies, an average of 3.65 points out of 5 for their critical thinking disposition, 3.78 points out of 5 for their emotional intelligence, and 3.67 points out of 6 for their academic self-efficacy. It was found that there was a significant positive correlation between psychiatric nursing competencies, critical thinking disposition, emotional intelligence, and academic self-efficacy. Additionally, it was found that there was a significant positive correlation between critical thinking disposition, emotional intelligence, and academic self-efficacy, and there was a significant positive correlation between emotional intelligence and academic self-efficacy. Therefore, in order to improve mental nursing competency, it is believed that it is necessary to develop a standardized curriculum to improve critical thinking disposition, emotional intelligence, and academic self-efficacy in clinical practice, simulation practice, and theoretical education courses.
