After all, for an educator, walk and writing of self examination are self educational practices that reflect on the rational life that existing society explains as exemplary and pursue a humane life with one’s own conscience. An educator’s self educational practice is encouraged and continued through friendship with friends. In this process, the educator generates work as a residue of self education. An educator’s work can make readers practice self education spontaneously. In this respect, the educator’s self education realizes other education by forming friendship with anonymous readers through his works. Rousseau shows the life of an educator who is exiled from society and forced into solitude but who nevertheless did not give up walk and writing of self examination.
