Modern Application of German Bildung Philosophy: A New Paradigm for Entrepreneurship Education among Korean College Students

This study explores the possibility of applying the German philosophy of Bildung to entrepreneurship education for Korean college students, and presents the possibility and application method through various literature. Bildung emphasizes individual autonomy and holistic development, which contrasts with the collectivist and authoritarian nature of the Korean education system. This study uses the cases of student entrepreneurs to understand the characteristics that lead to entrepreneurship education and growth. To solve these problems, this study proposes a customized approach that considers cultural differences, structural development of objective evaluation indicators, conducting international comparative research, and verifying long-term effects. This also emphasizes the need for a paradigm shift in entrepreneurship education and suggests that entrepreneurship education based on the philosophy of Bildung can flexibly respond to the changing market environment and improve the quality of entrepreneurship education in Korea.
