대학생을 위한 디자인 교육 프로그램 연구 - 유니버설 디자인 수업 사례를 중심으로

This study aims to analyze and verify the effectiveness of Universal Design education on university students' perceptions and design capabilities. As Universal Design's importance becomes increasingly emphasized in modern society, it refers to design that allows everyone to access and use physical and social environments equally. This study underscores the significance of systematically conveying the concepts and principles of Universal Design in university education, focusing on developing students' abilities to create creative and practical solutions. The research was conducted with students enrolled at Kongju National University, using an integrated curriculum that included both theoretical education and practical training to assess the effectiveness of the educational program. The study incorporated team-based learning and feedback processes to provide students with opportunities to enhance their collaborative skills and critical thinking. The results revealed that Universal Design education positively impacts students' creative problem-solving abilities, social responsibility, and inclusive mindset. It plays a crucial role in realizing sustainable designs that consider diverse user needs. These findings are expected to serve as valuable resources for future curriculum development.
