The purpose of this study is to verify the effect of female police officers' sexual harassment experience on organizational commitment and to confirm whether the effect of female police officers' sexual harassment experience on organizational commitment is moderated by hierarchical culture. For empirical analysis, a survey was conducted on a total of 190 female police officers belonging to the A National Police Agency, and 184 copies were ultimately used for analysis. The results of this study are as follows. First, the results of the analysis on the effect of direct sexual harassment experience on organizational commitment showed that sexual advance experience had a significant effect on organizational commitment, and gender harassment experience also had a significant effect on organizational commitment. Second, the results of the analysis on the effect of indirect sexual harassment experience on organizational commitment showed that indirect sexual harassment experience had a significant negative effect on organizational commitment. Third, the results are on the moderating effect of hierarchical culture on the relationship between direct and indirect sexual harassment experience and organizational commitment. Hierarchical culture was found to have a moderating effect on the relationship between sexual coercion experience and organizational commitment, and also on the relationship between sexual approach experience and organizational commitment.
