생성형 AI를 통한 아이콘 디자인 시스템 활용 방안 탐색: 토스의 아이콘 디자인을 중심으로

Although the design system was efficient for UX design work, there was still a lack of research about design system. As above, this research focuses on the design system to help the design work culture. For this purpose, the possibility of utilizing design systems through Generative AI. This is to confirm that a consistent visual experience can be built with similar icons for sentences and words of repeated prompts. The icon, which is a graphic element belonging to the design as the experiment, was generated by Generative AI. For the experiment, this research picked out UI design of Toss, which is the financial online platform service, because it is used with various graphic styles. The experiment set the UI design cases. One is UI and icons; the other one is the modified version with the icon of the Generative AI. The comparative analysis was conducted by a T-test. As a result, the difference between the two UI design types was meaningless. As mentioned above, it was confirmed that designing the icon included in the design system with Generative AI can be sufficiently utilized. In the interview, it was suggested that the icon of the UI design implemented as Generative AI was not significantly different from the icon of the existing UI design.
