방문간호사의 지역사회 통합돌봄과 생애 말기 간호 서비스 역할에 관한 연구

This study explored the role of long-term care visiting nurses in community care, including end-of-life care services for aging in place. The inductive approach of Elo and Kyngäs (2008)' qualitative content analysis was used as a research analysis method. As a result of the analysis, The results revealed that visiting nurses provide essential medical services through nursing treatment and they regard it important to prevent deterioration of the elderly condition by providing health education. They hope that prescription and administration of vaccinations and nutritional injections would be possible at home through visiting nurses to prevent the elderly's condition from worsening. Ending one's life at home was considered a good death, and services such as hospice were provided, and the importance of performing end-of-life care and the role of end-of-life care was suggested to enable the elderly to die with dignity at home. However, the lack of supply and awareness of visiting nursing institutions in house-work oriented long-term care fields was regarded as an impediment to integration. It was pointed out that there were limitations in providing nursing services within the current integrated fee. Therefore, in order to promote community care with visiting nursing service for the elderly at their own residence, it was proposed that differentiating nursing fees from home care fee should be implemented according to level of care.
