해체와 발전의 변증법 : 강만길의 조선시대사 연구 －자본주의맹아론의 재해석 지점－

In commemoration of the first anniversary of Kang Man-gil's memorial, this thesis is that outlined his achievements in research on the history of the Joseon Dynasty and reinterpreted of the concept of major commercial history supporting the theory of capitalist germination. As is well known, Kang Man-gil's study of the history of the Joseon Dynasty has been criticized by many researchers because it was conducted in a way that proves the theory of the Embryo of capitalism under the consciousness of having to overcome colonial history. However, I believe that Kang Man-gil's research is meaningful in that it provided basic data to view the social structure of the late Joseon Dynasty from the perspective of the people rather than the ruling class, and portrayed the people as subjects of transformation at a time when research on the people was not properly conducted. Moreover, the fact that he presented the topic of Korean history research based on a fierce perception of reality throughout his life and suggested the direction of practical studies still resonates deeply with subsequent researchers.
