청소년의 스포츠도박 예방교육을 위한 법정책 연구

이 연구는 스포츠도박의 확산과 저연령화 등을 고려하여 청소년의 스포츠도박 이용 실태 및 문제점을 파악하여 청소년 스포츠도박 문제를 예방, 관리할 수 있는 법적, 제도적 방안을 강구하는데 목적을 두고 한국도박문제예방치유원이 수집한 청소년 18,444명의 경험적 데이터를 분석하였다. 분석 결과 온라인 스포츠 도박보다 오프라인 스포츠 도박에서 유경험 수준이 더 높게 나타나고 있으며, 초, 중, 고등학교에 따른 스포츠도박 유경험 수준도 유의미한 차이가 있는 것으로 나타났다. 또한 스포츠도박 유경험 수준에 따른 청소년 일탈의 관계를 분석한 결과 스포츠도박의 참여 수준이 높을수록 청소년 일탈 수준도 높은 것으로 분석 되었으며 온, 오프라인 스포츠도박 여부에 관계없이 모두 동일한 것으로 나타났다. 마지막으로 도박 예방 교육 참여 여부에 따른 스포츠도박 참여 유경험 수준을 분석한 결과, 도박 예방 교육에 참여한 집단이 비참여 집단에 비해 스포츠 도박 참여 수준이 낮은 것으로 나타나 예방교육의 강화 및 제도화의 중요성을 볼 수 있었다.
Abstract
This study analyzed the empirical data of 18,444 adolescents collected by the Korea Problem Gambling Agency for the purpose of finding legal and institutional policies to prevent and manage the youth sports gambling problem. As a result of the analysis, the level of experience in offline sports gambling was higher than that of online sports gambling, and there was also a significant difference in the level of experience in sports gambling according to elementary, middle, and high schools. In addition, the result of analyzing the relationship between youth deviations according to the level of experience in sports gambling, it was analyzed that the higher the level of participation in sports gambling, the higher the level of youth deviations. Lastly, as a result of analyzing the level of experience in participating in sports gambling prevention education according to whether or not they participated in gambling prevention education, the group participating in sports gambling prevention education showed a lower level of participation in sports gambling than the non-participating group.
