국내 지식재산권(IP)거래 플랫폼의 도약을 위한 선행과제

In order for South Korea's excellent intellectual property (IP) to develop the capacity to enter and dominate the global market, it is essential to first establish a stable domestic platform. However, questions remain regarding the necessary requirements for legal IP transactions in the country, the existing challenges, and potential solutions. Current research has not kept pace with the rapid emergence of new platform markets driven by technological convergence. Therefore, this study aims to explore what measures should be considered as preliminary tasks for stabilizing the IP market and advancing IP trading platforms. Proposed solutions include: enhancing IP valuation methods to strengthen the credibility of valuations; establishing effective protections for rights during IP transactions; ensuring a systematic system and expertise for IP trading platforms; establishing a guarantee system for IP transactions; clarifying responsibilities and strengthening oversight regarding illegal activities in IP transactions; and addressing the imbalance between IP supply and demand. Through this research, we hope to promote the lawful activation of IP transactions and, by predicting the practical applicability of these solutions in future IP markets, we anticipate that it will serve as a catalyst for upgrading the domestic IP trading platform market.
