지역기반 창업의 연구 동향에 관한 키워드 네트워크 분석: 국내외 지방소멸 관점에서의 탐색
Keyword Network Analysis of Regional Entrepreneurship Research Trends: A Domestic and Global Perspective on Regional Depopulation

초록
인구 감소에 따른 지방소멸이 본격적인 문제로 대두되면서 이를 막기 위한 대안으로 로컬창업 지원이 확대 되고 있다. 로컬창업이 일자리를 창출하고 지역경제를 활성화함으로써 생태계에 긍정적인 선순환 효과를 가져올 수 있기 때문이다. 현재 지방소멸의 대안으로 로컬창업에 대한 정책적 지원이 활발히 이루어지고 있는 상황에서, 이러한 정책 시행을 뒷받침할 로컬창업 연구가 선행되었는지 살펴볼 필요가 있다. 따라서 본 연구에서는 로컬창업 연구가 지방소멸 대응을 위해 어떻게 이루어지고 있는지 살펴본다. 연구동향을 분 석하기 위해 키워드 네트워크 분석 방법을 사용하여 국내외 연구를 비교하였다. 해외 연구 분석 결과, 성 공적인 창업생태계를 조성하여 대표적인 로컬창업 사례가 있는 미국, 유럽 등의 국가가 상위에 위치하였다. 이 국가들은 모두 성공적인 로컬창업 경험을 보유하고 있으며, 지역사회와 문화 그리고 로컬창업에 대한 정부정책을 중요시했다는 공통점을 가지고 있다. 해외 연구의 주요 키워드로는 창업생태계 구축과 관련이 깊은 ‘development’, ‘government’, ‘policy’, ‘community’, ‘system’ 등이 자주 등장하였다. 반면, 국내 연 구에서는 ‘교육’, ‘지원’, ‘청년’, ‘로컬 크리에이터’, ‘일자리’ 등의 키워드가 자주 등장하였다. 해외는 창업 생태계 구축을 위해 정부, 지자체, 대학, 지역사회, 문화가 통합될 수 있는 방향으로 연구가 진행되는 반면, 국내 연구는 청년 위주의 교육, 지원, 일자리 창출 방향으로 진행되고 있음을 확인하였다. 성공적인 로컬창 업 생태계 구축과 로컬창업 교육 및 지원을 통해 로컬 크리에이터를 양성하기 위해서는 정부의 역할과 정 책에 대한 고찰이 선행되어야 한다. 본 연구는 국내 로컬창업이 지방소멸을 해결하기 위해 나아가야 할 연 구 방향을 제시하고, 해외 및 국내 연구를 비교하여 해외 성공 사례에서 중요하게 다루는 키워드를 중심으 로 새로운 시사점을 제시하였다는 데 의의가 있다.
Abstract
As population decline increasingly becomes a significant concern, leading to regional depopulation, expanding support for local entrepreneurship has emerged as a prominent solution. This is because local entrepreneurship has the potential to generate employment and activate regional economies, thereby fostering a positive ecological cycle. Given the active policy support for local entrepreneurship as an alternative to regional depopulation, it is crucial to examine whether prior research substantiates these policies. Therefore, this study investigates how research on local entrepreneurship is being conducted to address regional depopulation. To analyze research trends, keyword network analysis was employed to compare domestic and international studies. Overseas research indicates that countries such as the United States and Europe, known for successful instances of local entrepreneurship, emphasize the creation of a successful entrepreneurial ecosystem and prioritize government policies related to local communities, culture, and integration. Key overseas research keywords frequently include ‘development’, ‘government’, ‘policy’, ‘community’, and ‘system’, which are closely associated with the establishment of entrepreneurial ecosystems. In contrast, domestic research frequently features keywords such as ‘education’, ‘support’, ‘youth’, ‘local creators’, and ‘job creation’. Overseas research integrates efforts among government, local authorities, universities, communities, and cultural sectors to build entrepreneurial ecosystems, while domestic research focuses on educating youth, providing support, and creating jobs. To cultivate successful local creators through the establishment of a robust local entrepreneurship ecosystem and education, it is crucial to first reflect upon and study the roles of government and policies. This study offers directions for future research on domestic local entrepreneurship aimed at addressing regional depopulation, drawing comparisons between international and domestic studies to provide new insights centered around key themes highlighted in successful overseas cases.
