종업원의 육체적 여가활동과 창의적 과정 몰입: 직무활력과 직무도전성의 순차적 이중매개효과

Integrating previous literature of leisure activity, job related characteristics and creativity, this research built and tested a theoretical model linking employees' leisure activity with creative process engagement via two connecting variables. Using 325 survey data from employees in Korean firms, we found that, as anticipated, physical leisure activity positively affected creative process engagement. We also found that feeling of energy and job challenge had positive mediating effects in the relationship between physical leisure activity and creative process engagement. In addition, these two mediating variables then had a positive serial mediation influence on creative process engagement. This study confirmed the importance of physical leisure activities, which are non-work activities, as a determinant of creative process engagement. In addition, by demonstrating the serial mediating roles of feeling of energy and job challenge, it was possible to improve the understanding of the detailed process through which physical leisure activities lead to creative process engagement of employees.
