BIM 기반 생성형 디자인 알고리즘 구축을 통한 배치 설계 자동화

Smart construction and digital transformation are bringing significant changes to construction, architecture, and the design of apartment housing. These changes require innovative digital transformation from traditional design methods to AI-based automated design methods. This study emphasizes the importance of generative design, focusing mainly on a new methodology for automating the layout design of apartment housing. This research presents a methodology that effectively explores and evaluates the complexities of apartment housing design using visual programming techniques. The first step closely reviewed the basic structural design of apartment housing, and the second step clearly defined and formalized the regulatory conditions that must be satisfied in the layout design of apartment housing. Lastly, the implementation of an automated layout design algorithm for apartment housing generated various alternatives. Based on this, the possibility of establishing a system to review these alternatives was confirmed. This study proposes a new approach that overcomes the limitations of traditional architectural and residential building design methods and explores the innovative possibilities of automated design, investigating the potential for applying generative design in apartment housing design.
