특허 분석을 통한 스마트 헬스케어 분야의 유망 기술 예측 연구

스마트 헬스케어 시장은 성장 잠재력이 큰 분야로 많은 기업들의 투자와 개발이 활발히 이루어지고 있다. 본연구는 스마트 헬스케어 분야에서 향후 기술개발 방향과 산업의 미래를 예측하기 위해, 국가별 특허 데이터를 기반으로분류 및 집계하고, 특허 분석 지표를 활용한 예측 방법론을 적용하였다. 이를 통해 국가별 기술 동향 분석, 기술 성장단계 평가, 세부 기술 동향 분석, 기술개발 방향 및 유망 기술 분야 예측을 수행하였다. 분석에는 2008년부터 2023년까지 한국, 미국, 일본, 유럽의 특허 출원 데이터를 활용하였다. 스마트 헬스케어 분야의 특허 출원은 2014년 이후 급격히증가하며 꾸준한 상승세를 보인다. 국가별로 살펴보면, 한국과 미국은 스마트 데이터 기술에 대한 특허 출원이 높은 반면, 유럽과 일본은 웨어러블 디바이스 기술에 대한 출원 비중이 높았다. 기술 성장 단계 분석 결과, 스마트 헬스케어분야는 현재 성장기에 있으며, 유망 기술 예측 방법론에 따른 분석에서는 웨어러블 디바이스 기술이 가장 유망한 기술로예측되었고, 스마트 진단과 개인 건강 기록이 그 뒤를 이었다. 이러한 연구 결과는 스마트 헬스케어 분야의 R&D 전략수립에 유용하게 활용될 것으로 기대된다.
Abstract
The smart healthcare market, with significant growth potential, is attracting active investment and research and development (R&D) from many companies. This study predicts directions for future technological development and the industry's outlook for smart healthcare by classifying patent data by country and applying predictive methodologies using patent analysis indicators. It analyzes technological trends by country, evaluates growth stages, examines detailed trends, and forecasts promising technologies. The study uses patent data from Korea, the U.S., Japan, and Europe from 2008 to 2023. Patent applications in this sector have risen sharply since 2014. Korea and the U.S. focus on smart data technologies, while Europe and Japan prioritize wearable devices. The technology growth stage analysis indicates that the sector is currently in its growth phase. Wearable devices are predicted to be the most promising technology, followed by smart diagnostics and personal health records. These findings offer valuable insights for establishing R&D strategies in smart healthcare.
