문제해결 프로젝트 기반 교과 융합 교육 프로그램이 초등학생의 창업가정신에 미치는 영향

The purpose of this research was to develop and implement a problem-solving project-based program integrating various subjects for fourth-grade elementary school students, and to investigate the effects of this program on developing their entrepreneurial competencies. To this end, after developing the program, a pretest and posttest design was applied to two elementary school classes to analyze its effects on students’ entrepreneurship competencies. The main findings of the study are as follows: First, a 14-hour initiative titled “Creating an Eco-friendly City and Green Jobs” was developed as a convergence education program. It aimed to use project-based problem-solving to foster entrepreneurship competencies among middle-grade elementary school students. The program projects included the following learning stages: setting goals, planning, execution, conclusion, evaluation, and feedback. The setting goals and planning stages were designed to encourage divergent thinking that explores problem understanding and solutions development in problem-solving learning. The program set out to integrate elementary school subjects such as Social studies, Art, Korean language, and Practical arts content with Creative experiential activities centered on the theme of the Eco-friendly city. Using a nonhomogeneous pretest–posttest design, the program was applied in two fourth grade elementary school classes and was found to have a significant effect on fostering entrepreneurship competencies among students. In particular, significant improvements in the cooperation, autonomy, and innovative competencies of students were observed. Based on these results, use of the program developed in this study, together with further follow-up research, was suggested.
