Green Entrepreneurship Intention among Business Students

This study aims to investigate the factors of green entrepreneurship intention of business students in South Korea. Drawing upon the value-attitude-behavior(VAB) hierarchy and the stimulus-organism-response(SOR) framework, we examined the role of biospheric values, collectivistic values, and university educational support in shaping students’ attitudes and intentions toward green entrepreneurship. We collected data from 153 business students and applied the partial least squares structural equation modeling(PLS-SEM). We found that biospheric and collectivistic values positively influence attitudes toward green entrepreneurship, which in turn enhance green entrepreneurship intention. Furthermore, university educational support directly fosters green entrepreneurship intention among students. This research provides valuable theoretical insights into the factors driving green entrepreneurship intention and offers practical implications for policymakers and educational institutions seeking to cultivate environmentally responsible entrepreneurial mindsets among business students.
