청소년 디지털 성범죄의 영향요인에 관한 연구: 성별 조절효과를 중심으로

This study aimed to integrate the experiences of victimization and perpetration of digital sexual crimes among adolescents. To compensate for the limitations of previous studies that focused on perpetration experiences, the presence and level of victimization and perpetration experiences were analyzed together. Various influencing factors, such as individual emotional characteristics, home environment, school environment, social attitudes, and online behavior, were examined, and the moderating effects of gender were confirmed. The data were obtained from the Korea Youth Policy Research Institute's 2021 Study on the Status of Digital Sexual Crimes Against Children and Adolescents, and the total number of participants was 2,151 (1,105 were boys, 51.4%). The results of the analysis showed that, first, boys experienced higher rates of victimization and perpetration than girls, with greater differences in the level of perpetration. Second, stress, parental monitoring, teacher relationships, and gender stereotypes commonly influence the presence and level of digital sexual crimes. In contrast, parent-child relationships, friendships, use of anonymous accounts, and participation in open chat had differential effects. Third, there were significant moderating effects of gender on the level of victimization experience for open chat participation and moderating effects of gender on the level of victimization experience for parental monitoring and gender stereotyping. This study is significant because it suggests the need for an integrated approach to the prevention of digital sexual crimes among adolescents, and provides a basis for the development of tailored interventions that take into account gender characteristics.
