원달러환율과 곡물가격의 복합작용이배합사료(비육) 가격에 미치는 영향

본 연구의 목적은 2012년 1월부터 2024년 2월 사이에 발생한 COVID-19 확산, 미국 금리 인상 등의 경제･사회적 충격을 고려하여 각 기간에서 원달러환율, 곡물가격, 원달러환율과 곡물가격의 복합작용이 사료가격(비육)에 미치는 영향을 살펴보고, 거시적이고 장기적인 차원에서의 정책 대안을 제공하는 것에 있다. 분석결과, 사료가격에 대한 동시 상관관계, 그랜저 인과관계, 공적분 관계는 기간Ⅰ(2012년 1월~2020년 2월), 기간Ⅱ(2014년 1월~2022년 2월), 기간Ⅲ(2016년 1월~2024년 2월)으로 향할수록 통계적 유의미성이 뚜렷해졌으며, 주요한 영향을 미치는 변수가 곡물가격에서 원달러환율로 바뀌었다. 변수 간 상대적 영향력은 원달러환율, 곡물가격, 환산가격, 사료가격이며, 구조적 벡터오차수정모형에 근거한 일반화 충격반응함수 결과, 원달러환율과 곡물가격이 1시차 이후 환산가격에 정(+)의 영향을 미치고, 환산가격은 다시 2시차 이후 사료가격에 정(+)의 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다.
Abstract
The purpose of this study is to examine the impact of USD/KRW exchange rates, grain prices, and the multiple action of USD/KRW exchange rates and grain prices on feed prices(beef cattle) in each period, taking into account the economic and social shocks such as the spread of COVID-19 and the increase in U.S. interest rates between January 2012 and February 2024, and to provide policy alternatives at a macro and long-term level. As a result of the analysis, the contemporaneous correlation, granger causality, and cointegration relationship on feed prices are statistically significant toward period I (January 2012 to February 2020), period II (January 2014 to February 2022), and period III (January 2016 to February 2024), and the main variable is changed from grain prices to the USD/KRW exchange rates. The order of relative influence among variables is the USD/KRW exchange rates, grain prices, conversion prices, and feed prices, and as a result of the GIRF (Generalized Impulse Response Function) based on the SVECM (Structural Vector Error Correction Model), it is found that the USD/KRW exchange rates and grain prices have a positive effect on the conversion prices, and then the conversion prices again have a positive effect on the feed prices.
