간호대학생의 수업 만족도가 학업성취도에 미치는 영향: 의사소통능력의 매개효과

본 연구는 간호대학생의 수업만족도와 학업성취도 관계에서 의사소통능력의 매개효과를 파악하고자 시도되었다. 연구대상자는 G 광역시에 위치한 대학의 간호학과 학생 194명을 대상으로 실시하였고, 자료 수집은 2024년 5월 1일부터 5월 14일까지 실시되었다. 수집된 자료는 SPSS/WIN 21.0 프로그램을 이용하여 빈도분석, 평균과 표준편차, 독립표본 T- 검정, 일원배치 분산 분석, 상관관계 분석, 위계적 다중회귀분석으로 분석하였다. 연구문제에 대한 연구결과를 요약하면 다음과 같다. 학업성취도는 의사소통능력(r= .63, p=< .01)과 유의한 양의 상관관계를 보였고, 수업만족도(r= .73, p< .01)와도 양의 상관관계로 유의한 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 의사소통능력의 매개변수는 종속변수인 학업성취도(β= .54, p< .01)에 유의한 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났고, 독립변수인 수업만족도도 학업성취도(β= .30, p< .01)에 유의한 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 결론적으로 의사소통능력은 수업만족도와 학업성취도의 관계에서 부분 매개효과가 있는 것으로 확인되었다(Z=8.16, p< .01). 따라서 간호대학생의 수업만족도와 의사소통능력은 학생들의 학습과정에 긍정적인 경험을 하게 만들며, 이는 학업성취도를 높일 수 있는 중요한 요인임을 제시하였다. 이를 토대로 학업성취도 향상시키기 위한 다양한 전략과 요소들의 추가 연구가 필요할 것이다.
Abstract
This study aimed to identify the mediating effect of communication skills on the relationship between class satisfaction and academic achievement among nursing students. The subjects of the study were 194 nursing students in the G metropolitan area, and data were collected from May 1 to May 14, 2024. The collected data was analyzed using SPSS/WIN 21.0 software, employing frequency analysis, mean and standard deviation, independent samples t-test, one-way analysis of variance (ANOVA), correlation analysis, and hierarchical multiple regression analysis. The summary of the research findings related to the research question is as follows: Academic achievement showed a significant positive correlation with communication skills (r = .63, p < .01) and a significant positive correlation with class satisfaction (r = .73, p < .01), indicating a significant influence. Communication skills, as a mediating variable had a significant effect on the dependent variable, academic achievement (β= .54, p< .01), and the independent variable, class satisfaction, also had a significant effect on academic achievement (β= .30, p< .01). In conclusion, it was confirmed that communication skills have a partial mediating effect on the relationship between class satisfaction and academic achievement (Z=8.16, p< .01). Therefore, it was suggested that nursing students' class satisfaction and contribute to creating positive experiences in the learning process, which are important factors that can enhance academic achievement. Based on this, further research on various strategies and factors to improve academic achievement will be necessary.
