초록
This study empirically examined how management support from the headquarters of chicken restaurant franchisees affected their satisfaction levels. This study also examined the effects of the trust in the headquarters’support on franchisee satisfaction levels. The survey was conducted by conveniently selecting 400 chicken franchise stores in the Daegu and Gyeongbuk regions and conducting one copy per store over the two months of June and July 2024. A total of 324 copies were recovered, but the final 300 copies were used as analysis data. The study results can be summarized as follows. First, in an empirical analysis of the effects of four factors of the headquarters' support on franchisees' satisfaction levels, sales promotion support was proven to affect satisfaction the most, followed by information provision. However, education/training and compensation did not have a significant impact on satisfaction levels. Second, in an empirical analysis of the effects of four factors of government support on franchisees’ financial performance, financial support had the greatest effect on the outcome, followed by technical support and management support. However, infrastructure support was found to have a negative effect on financial performance. Empirically analyzing the impact of four factors of government support on nonfinancial performance, we found that technical support had the most influence on nonfinancial performance, while management support had a negative impact. However, education/training and information provision did not affect non-financial performance.
