발달장애인 일자리 창출을 위한 사회적협동조합의 성장단계별 경영전략: SER-M 프레임워크를 활용한 두빛나래 사례 분석

Creating employment opportunities for people with developmental disabilities is a critical issue for both the individuals and their stakeholders. Despite various government employment policies, the employment rate for people with developmental disabilities remains low. In this context, social economy entities are making various efforts to create jobs for people with developmental disabilities, with social cooperatives standing out as a promising alternative. This study analyzes the case of Doo Bit Narae, a social cooperative established by families of individuals with developmental disabilities, focusing on its growth-stage management strategies. The analysis aims to understand how social cooperatives can successfully create employment opportunities for individuals with developmental disabilities. For this research, the study applied the SER-M frame work, which includes Subject, Environment, Resource, and Mechanism, to analyze the key factors and processes that led to the cooperative’s success. The results indicate that, in terms of Subject, the deep understanding and strategic approach of the representative of Doo Bit Narae played a crucial role. In terms of Environment, the need for jobs and care for individuals with developmental disabilities were significant factors. In terms of Resource, various support policies were effectively utilized. These elements of Subject, Environment, and Resource contributed to achieving the desired outcomes through external support mechanisms, internally driven environment utilization mechanisms, and internally driven resource innovation mechanisms. The case of Doo Bit Narae demons trates how social cooperatives can implement innovative management strategies to create employment opportunities for individuals with developmental disabilities.
