본 연구는 기업의 감지 역량이 선제적 지속가능 전략을 매개로 제품·서비스·프로세스 혁신에 미치는 영향과 기업 규모별 차이를 분석하였다. 중소기업과 중견·대기업을 대상으로 Multi Group Analysis를 실시하여 기업 규모에 따른 차이점을 규명하고자 하였다. 국내 중소기업 및 중견·대기업 400개의 유효 응답을 바탕으로 구조방정식 모델링(SEM)을 활용하여 변수 간 관계를 검증하고, 다중집단분석으로 기업 규모에 따른 조절 효과를 분석하였다. 연구 결과, 감지 역량은 선제적 지속가능 전략에 정(+)의 영향을 미치며, 이는 제품·서비스·프로세스 혁신에 긍정적 영향을 미치는 것으로 확인되었다. 이러한 관계는 기업 규모에 따라 차이가 있었다. 본 연구는 동적 역량 이론을 지속가능성과 혁신 맥락에서 확장하고 기업 규모별 차이를 실증 분석했다는 이론적 의의가 있다. 실무적으로는 기업들이 규모에 따른 감지 역량과 지속가능 전략의 중요성 차이를 인식하여 맞춤형 전략 수립에 활용할 수 있을 것으로 기대된다.
Abstract
This study examines how firms' sensing capability influences product, service, and process innovation through the mediation of proactive sustainability strategy, and analyzes differences across firm sizes. Multi-group analysis was conducted to identify variations between SMEs and large enterprises. Based on valid responses from 400 Korean SMEs and large enterprises, structural equation modeling (SEM) was employed to verify relationships among variables, and multi-group analysis was used to examine the moderating effects of firm size. The findings reveal that sensing capability positively affects proactive sustainability strategy, which in turn positively influences product, service, and process innovation. These relationships showed significant differences according to firm size. This study makes theoretical contributions by extending dynamic capabilities theory in the context of sustainability and innovation while providing empirical evidence for size-based differences. From a practical perspective, firms can utilize these findings to develop customized strategies by recognizing the varying importance of sensing capability and sustainability strategy according to their size.
