바실리 칸딘스키의 작품을 활용한 아트 메이크업 융합 디자인 연구 -바우하우스 시대를 중심으로-

This study explores the convergence of art makeup design with the works of Wassily Kandinsky, a pioneer of pure abstract painting. Art makeup is characterized by artistic elements that freely express the artist's thoughts and emotions in various forms. In the expression of art makeup, convergence with other fields proves highly engaging and generates creative ideas. This study aims to explore new design directions in art makeup by incorporating Wassily Kandinsky's artistic works. The research methodology involved establishing theoretical foundations on Kandinsky and art makeup through literature review of previous studies and specialized publications. Four works from the Bauhaus era, which particularly highlight Kandinsky's distinctive painting characteristics, were selected for art makeup convergence design. Through this research, two significant outcomes were achieved: first, the study presented a new design methodology for art makeup utilizing paintings; second, it expanded the scope of expressive domains in art makeup. This study aims to contribute to the development of art makeup design competencies and concept derivation, with the anticipation of stimulating further research in sophisticated and creative art makeup design.
